SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

KFS is only seeking submissions of experimental poetry at this time. Please look at some of the samples in our bookshop to make sure that your work is suitable. We are not accepting submissions of fiction.

We welcome full colour Vispo, or illustrated submissions.

CHAPBOOKS

Thanks to a generous donation we are now able to resume our chapbook programme. Please ensure that your pamphlet is a maximum of 30 A5 pages. We are happy to publish longer chapbooks, but they are unlikely to be reviewed and will not be eligible for competitions.

COLLECTIONS

Collections must be a minimum of 44 pages, there is no upper limit.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Please submit by email, with your manuscript attached as a Word Document or as a PDF. Ensure that your name, address, email address, and telephone number appear on the cover page of the manuscript.

The email itself should be composed as a professional covering letter, which sells the manuscript and yourself.

OUR TERMS

We do not have contracts with our authors, so the work remains their property.

Authors receive 5 free copies, and a 40% discount on additional copies. We have a minimum order policy of 10. Postage and packaging within the UK is £6, for foreign orders postage will be quoted.
